... Along with the Cohen discs, Columbia has issued Blue Alert by Anjani. A fine singer who has clearly listened to a lot of Nina Simone, she's worked with Cohen for more than 25 years and he produced and co-wrote all the songs on this gently emotional album. It comes with a "making-of-the-album" DVD.
