Carter's Bird on a Wire Carter's Bird on a Wire website was a trailblazer. It was one of the first sites devoted to Leonard Cohen that sprung up on the Web during its infancy. And certainly it was one of the inspirations for this site. Carter was at the University of Pennsylvania when he created Bird on a Wire. He grew the site with his imagination, creativity and of course, the inspiration of the Master, Mr. Cohen. Then Carter moved on, we presume he simply left the University and went on to bigger and better things. His site lived on for many years, until the University in its infinite wisdom (NOT!) finally removed the pages. However, Cohen fans can still enjoy Carter's efforts. Below are some pages captured from the site before the University did its dirty deed. Thanks Carter for your contributions and your sharing spirit.
