Leonard, Sharon Robinson and Ten New Songs earned four Juno Award nominations which included: Best Pop Album; Leonard Cohen for Best Artist; Leonard Cohen for Best Songwriter for "In My Secret Life," "You Have Loved Enough," and "Boogie Street," co-written with Sharon Robinson; and Best Video for "In My Secret Life" by Leonard Cohen and directed by Floria Sigismonidi.

"When Leanne saw the photo I took of Sharon and myself, she said, 'That's a picture of two people with one mind.' Given her stunning contribution to Ten New Songs, it was necessary, just, and appropriate that Sharon appear on the cover. Otherwise, Nova, my daughter's dog, would have been featured; even though nobody really liked it but Kelley, Lorca and me. The people at Sony thought I 'must be kidding.' Nova will have her day."


About this cover Leonard writes:

"Here is another cover I didn't use. 'Woman Reclining on a Sphinx' is a drawing of a small plaster statuette which has been on my desk in Montreal for twenty-five years."
